Sofia Experimental was born in Bobbina Cultural Space back in 2023! On Saturday night of its 4-th edition the festival is returning to its birthplace for an unforgettable experience including dance/movement, algorithmic music, live electronics, visuals, and lights. We will start with the project “Dispersion” - an audio-visual performance exploring the boundaries between physical touch, sound, and light. It is presented by Kalina Georgieva, Stefaniya Georgieva, Kristiyan Valev, and Bogomil Valev.
Follows an algorithmic audio-visual performance with real-time reactive visuals by Petar Guglev a.k.a. Wrighter.
Liz Allbee, our special guest from Berlin, who is part of Sofia Experimental 2026 thanks to our partners from Goethe-Institut Bulgarien is presenting her instrumental & live electronics solo set with visuals.
Slavo Krekovic is presenting a live encounter between the performer, multiple neural network models trained on classical music data, and virtual instruments in a musical process that can never be fully predicted in advance.
