About this Event
The concern: The question of whether peace is possible seems ever more urgent in today’s world in which a peace deal means anything but, where politicians ignore state sovereignty or international agreements, and in world affairs ‘everything is based on the possibility of slaughter’ (Richard Seebohm, Britain Quaker Yearly Meeting 2025).
At these sessions, we use the Quaker way to calmly work out the way forward on different vital concerns.
Our speakers
Julian Rachel: Professor of Peace Studies at Leeds Beckett University.
Matthew Bittle: Quaker justice and peace advocate, works at Centre for Good Relations.
