The life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as told by composer Antonio Salieri, Mozart's greatest enemy. An intimate, in the round experience.
About this Event

In the court of the Austrian Emperor Joseph II, Antonio Salieri is the established composer. Enter the greatest musical genius of all time: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Salieri has pledged himself to God so that he might realize his sole ambition, to be a great composer. Mozart is a foul-mouthed, obscene little man who has that which is beyond Salieri’s envious grasp: Genius.

Back after their highly acclaimed sell out run in 2025 Strawmoddie Theatre, in collaboration with The Pianodrome, are excited to re-stage Peter Shaffer's greatest play, performed once again in an amphitheatre made of pianos! With live music and opulent 18th century costumes, revisit one of the greatest plays of the 20th century.
