About this Event
Location: Aaniin Community Centre (Youth Program Room – C210, Second Floor)
Join the Traumatic Incident Response Protocol (TIRP) and York Regional Police (YRP) for a guided walk through Aaniin Community Centre. Through the lens of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), we will explore how these principles can be applied to our own homes and neighbourhoods.
Join us to...
- Reflect on how design shapes our shared spaces in Markham
- Learn about CPTED principles from YRP and how they can help deter crime
- Walk through Aaniin's indoor and outdoor spaces with guided observations
- Identify practical ways to notice and apply these ideas in your own home and neighbourhood
Free refreshments will be available!
