A MEAL. A COMMUNITY. A REASON TO BE THANKFUL. Thanksgiving is about coming together, and each year The Salvation Army of Montgomery County has the privilege of welcoming our neighbors around the table for our annual Community Thanksgiving Meal.
Each year, we serve approximately 3,000 Thanksgiving meals—and EVERYONE is welcome.
This meal isn’t just for those experiencing homelessness or hardship. It is truly a community meal. Come by yourself, bring your family, invite a neighbor, or spend part of your Thanksgiving serving alongside us.
This special tradition is held in loving memory of Dr. Wally and Neddie Jane Wilkerson, whose love for people and passion for service touched countless lives throughout Montgomery County. Their legacy continues as thousands gather each year to share a meal, fellowship, and give thanks.
