Community Resilience Training 1:
How Extreme Heat Will Affect Us All

'Do What You Can' Volunteer Network

We are all feeling the effects of an ever increasing world, and Islington is no exception. Climate change is impacting our lives in ways we are not used in the UK. But we have the power to adapt to hotter summers and colder winters, and we can help each other in the process.

Please join us for the first of 4 different workshop sessions at Caxton House, forming a pilot of Islington's Community Resilience Network, the 'Do What You Can' network. Focussing on climate action, we will learn DIY tips, get some coaching from professionals and learn how we can take care of ourselves and those who are important to us.

The focus of the first workshop is how heat is affecting lives here in London, to make you better informed on what you can do.

From 12pm at Caxton House. Refreshments will be served at each workshop.
