About this Event
Barking Food Forest's Annual Pumpkin Party!
Our popular, sell-out Community Pumpkin Party is back!
Join us at Barking Food Forest for an afternoon of autumn fun, creativity and community celebrations!
This year, we've teamed up with L&Q to bring families, friends and neighbours together for another fantastic Pumpkin Party in Barking Riverside.
What's happening?
- Pumpkin carving – get creative with your very own pumpkin!
- Arts and crafts for children and adults
- Face painting
- Music and interactive drumming
- Delicious hot soup and refreshments
- Fancy dress welcome – come in your favourite autumn or Halloween costume!
And grown-ups, this party is for you too!
We especially encourage parents, carers and adults to join in the fun. Whether you're carving a pumpkin, getting creative, enjoying the music or simply catching up with neighbours over a warm bowl of soup, there's something for everyone.
Why is there a £3 ticket charge this year?
We've always loved offering our Pumpkin Party free of charge. However, in previous years, some booked places went unused, leaving us with pumpkins that had been purchased but never collected.
To help reduce food waste and ensure that as many families as possible can enjoy the event, we've introduced a small £3 per person booking charge this year.
This helps us plan more accurately, purchase the right number of pumpkins and make the event more sustainable. Each £3 ticket includes one carving pumpkin.
Spaces are limited, and our Pumpkin Party always sells out, so book your tickets early!
We can't wait to celebrate autumn with you at Barking Food Forest!
