Please join us in celebrating Bangor’s new Community Mural by Rachel Gloria Adams on Saturday, September 26th from 4–6 PM at 2 Hammond Street in downtown Bangor!Created in collaboration with the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce, this large-scale mural transforms a prominent downtown wall into a colorful celebration of Bangor and the people, places, history, and culture that make our community unique. Designed by acclaimed Maine artist Rachel Gloria Adams, the mural incorporates patterns created by five Bangor-area artists, bringing together multiple perspectives into one vibrant work of public art.
Come meet the artists, enjoy a beverage and snack, see the completed mural up close, snap some photos, and celebrate this exciting new addition to Bangor.
Drinks are being generously donated by Orono Brewing Company. There is a $5 suggested donation to attend, and drinks will be available for a $5 suggested donation per drink, with proceeds supporting Bangor Beautiful and future community projects.
