SAWIS (also known as South Asian Women’s Rights Organization- SAWRO) is hosting our annual Mother’s Day celebration, organized by and for community women and girls. The event will celebrate the efforts and contributions of working, racialized, and immigrant mothers and caregivers in our community.
We invite community members, advocates, and other stakeholders to join us to listen and participate in discussions to advance the rights of mothers and caregivers in our community and abroad!
Join us for discussions, skits, songs, dances, and poems organized and performed by community women and girls on the occasion. Refreshments will be provided!
