We know that heat, storms, cold, and poor air affect our families, our work, and our land. We also know that the people living through it every day understand it best. That's why we're inviting our neighbors to share a meal and a conversation with us as we build a climate resilience plan for North Omaha (68111). We especially hope to hear from Maya families, farmworkers who care for the land, youth, and every neighbor who calls 68111 home.
Where: Habitat for Humanity Meeting Center, 1701 N 24th St Suite 101
When: Saturday, November 7th, 3:00-6:00 PM
Food and childcare provided
Conversation in English, Spanish, and Q'anjob'al
This is a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of immigration status. We will not collect or share any personal information. What you do share will shape the final plan, and at the end of the program we'll gather again to celebrate, share what we built together, and talk about next steps.
