Join us for a unique Drop-in Indigo Dye experience where you can transform your old textiles with the magic of indigo! Bring your own clothing, fabric, or home textiles and give them a second life while keeping them out of the landfill. This is great for something with stains on it, or that you love but just don’t wear anymore and want to give a new look.
Pricing:$35 Covers the first item you dye.
+ Additional Items $10 each

How It Works:- Drop in at your convenience between 5-8pm- Bring your own natural fiber items: cotton, linen, silk, hemp, wool, or rayon/viscose (no synthetics or polyester blends).- Dip your pieces into our indigo vat and watch the color shift before your eyes.- Take home something truly unique and upcycled!
No experience necessary: just bring your curiosity and creativity! 🌿💙

Acceptable sizes are items like t-shirts, pillow cases, onesies and baby blankets. Please no bulky items like large quilts, blankets, jackets and towels, since vat space is limited.

Cady Faus is a natural dyer and mixed media artist based in Boulder, Colorado. Passionate about our local Fibershed and slow food and fashion movements, her art practice seeks an understanding of and connection to natural material, history and place, and self and community. She has traveled internationally to study the arts of natural dye and has learned Katazome and Tsutsugaki techniques from experts in Japan, Mexico, and California. Her current focus combines elements of traditional arts with modern-day methods, all the while paying attention to sustainability, stewardship, and collaboration between farmers and artists. Cady believes curiosity without judgement is the best tool in the arts of natural dyeing.
