Ray has been battling Osteosarcoma for going on 2 years in December after many different cycles of Chemotherapy, 4 Surgeries, and Radiation Therapy have worked more disease has spread in other bones and now in both of his lungs, spine, chest, pelvis, and possibly his rib.We were admit to Children’s Hospital of Omaha in October for of intensive inpatient treatment.
Rays oncology team is working on getting him into St Jude in Memphis to enroll .
This trial will consist more Chemo and Radiation Therapy plus genetically engineering, his T cells to be cancer fighters and then putting them back into his body. Car-T research program requires close monitoring which will require us to be in Tennessee for long periods of time!
His team at Children’s are working on getting his tumor tested to see if it has the gene marker to be in this trial. Depending on the time frame of St.Jude accepting him into this program, he might have another heavy cycle of Chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital for another 6 days.
We stand in agreement that God has a plan and whatever His Will and purpose is we are keeping the faith, WE serve a BIG GOD and we are merely dust living out HIS purpose for our lives! Tomorrow is not promised for anyone, Ray knows Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Power of prayer works! We love and appreciate all of you that support us in this difficult time with Gods people in community together it has lighten the load! Ray is in good spirits he says the only thing we can do is stay positive ! Thank you Jesus for your Grace and Mercy and all the people you have sent our way Lord.
So as his community we will be hosting a community impact night for Ray & his family!!
The fund will help with travel , shelter, food and whatever this little boy needs or his family.
