About this Event
Whether it’s sharing a meal, cooking a sausage sizzle or fundraising at a local event, food plays an integral part of community group activities.
Join us for this FREE interactive workshop to better understand your group’s responsibilities in keeping food safe in our community.
What will be covered:
· Legislative responsibilities of community groups
· Basic food handling and monitoring essentials
· Safe Food Victoria Registration System – FoodTrader
· Volunteer food handlers’ requirements
· Importance of considering allergens
This session will be run in person by Latrobe City Council’s Health Services Team with the opportunity to ask questions.
Please note this is not a certified course. Light supper provided.
