🐾 MorePaws Walking Club – Rivington Pike 🐾
Come and join us for a community group dog walk up Rivington Pike! This one is perfect for dogs and owners who fancy a slightly more adventurous walk, with beautiful countryside, a good climb, and some fantastic views waiting for us at the top.
📅 Date: Saturday 26th September 2026
⏰ Meet: 10:30am | Walk starts: 10:45am
📍 Meeting point: Knowle House Car Park, BL6 7RT (opposite Cumberland School)
🚗 Free parking available
🥾 The walk:
- Approx. 3.5 miles
- Around 2 hours
- Moderate circular route
- Gradual uphill sections with one more challenging climb
- Stunning views across Winter Hill and the surrounding countryside
- All dogs welcome
We’ll take the walk at a sociable pace with time to catch our breath, chat with other owners, and enjoy the scenery along the way. The climb might get the legs working, but the views make it well worth the effort!
Whether you’re coming on your own, bringing a friend, or joining a MorePaws walk for the first time, you’ll be made to feel very welcome. It’s all about getting outdoors, meeting new people and giving our dogs a great adventure at the same time.

All dogs are welcome off-lead, but please be considerate of nervous or reactive dogs. If you think your dog might approach those that are on-lead, kindly keep yours leashed.
