Join us to use collected autumn leaves to make a 'stained glass window' to take home.
About this Event
Overview
A relaxed outdoor gathering for parent carers and neurodivergent adults.
We'l use fallen leaves collected on our walk around Devonshire Park (last week), along with twigs and tissue paper, to make our own little stained-glass-style windows to take home.
There will be opportunities to pop outside into the forest garden, but this is optional, and we will be based in the cabin.
Accessibility: this event is based in the cosy cabin at Woodville, and is accessible for wheelchair users. (There will also be opportunities to dip outside, but this is optional)
What to expect
Calm in the Wild Community Gatherings are gentle, welcoming sessions for parent carers and neurodivergent adults. There’s no pressure to talk, no expectation to join in with everything, and no crafting experience needed. Whether you’d like to make something, enjoy a brew, chat with others or simply spend a couple of hours in nature, you’re very welcome.
Tea, coffee and simple snacks are provided.
