You're Invited to the Opening of the Community Art Gallery at Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library!
The inaugural exhibition will feature the work of Marlys Greenhalgh, a Baraboo-area painter and printmaker whose artwork draws inspiration from the landscapes, flora, fauna, and natural beauty of the Baraboo Hills. As the artist behind Prickly Pear Studio, Greenhalgh is known for her plein air paintings, printmaking, and lifelong dedication to arts education and artistic expression. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist, view original works, and celebrate a new cultural destination for the community.
The Community Art Gallery was created to provide an accessible and inspiring space that showcases local and regional artists, fosters community engagement, and expands access to arts and humanities throughout Sauk County.
