𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧: Community Engagement with United Way

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧: Walk with us from United Way around downtown as we hear from United Way staff about the impact of community engagement in Macon-Bibb and ways to get involved. We will also be taking donations of new or gently used coats, gloves, and winter hats.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
This one-hour, casual group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. We’ll feature a guest guide and/or special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.
