About this Event
Empower yourself with the knowledge, skills, and community connections needed to advocate for yourself and others. Facilitated by Professor Dora Lopez from Cal Poly Pomona’s Office of Interdisciplinary Ethnic Studies in partnership with Gente Organizada, this interactive workshop will help participants learn how to navigate public services, communicate their needs, and access resources that support individual, family, and community well-being.
The workshop will conclude with a Community Resource Fair where participants can connect directly with organizations providing support related to health, housing, education, employment, legal assistance, family services, and community engagement.
