RESCHEDULED! 🎶 Community, Connect, and Create Days: Ukulele Lesson & Sing-Along 🎶Join us Saturday, November 7 at 12 p.m. for a fun, creative afternoon of music, connection, and community!
This month, we’ll be learning and creating with local artist Aly Peeler who will share simple songwriting techniques using easy ukulele chords. We’ll learn together, make some music, and wrap it up with a sing-along!
🎸 Bring your instrument! If you have a ukulele, bring it along. Don’t have one? No worries! You’re welcome to bring another musical instrument or use one of the few extra ukuleles available to share at The Church Arthouse.
No musical experience is needed. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate! Come ready to learn something new, get creative, and have a good time.
Community, Connect, and Create Days is a collaborative series led by The Church Arthouse, Omaha Community Foundation, and Girl Scouts, featuring a rotation of local artists and creatives. Held on the first Saturday of each month, these free gatherings are a chance to learn from local artists, try something new, meet people in the community, and explore creative expression together.
🍽️ A light lunch will be provided.
💚 Free and open to the community.
And while you're here, you'll also have an opportunity to learn more about the different ways to get involved with Girl Scouts!
