Community Coffee is the place for local nonprofit professionals to connect, share ideas, learn from one another, and leave with fresh inspiration to take back to the office.Come make new connections, strengthen existing ones, and be part of the conversations shaping our nonprofit community.
We hear the terms poverty and financial hardship all the time—but what about the families who earn too much to qualify for assistance and still struggle to make ends meet?
Join representatives from United Way of the Ohio Valley for an insightful discussion on ALICE® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) data and what it reveals about the true financial realities facing many individuals and families in our region. Learn who ALICE households are, why this data matters, and how it can help nonprofits better understand community needs, strengthen programs, tell compelling stories, and support funding requests.
This session will explore local trends, spark conversation about the challenges facing working families, and provide practical ways to use ALICE data in your organization's planning, fundraising, advocacy, and service delivery efforts.
You'll leave with a deeper understanding of the people we serve, valuable data you can put to work immediately, and fresh perspectives from fellow nonprofit professionals.
