Join us for a lovely afternoon of clothes swapping, shopping small, coffee, cake and community at The Thrifty Chameleon Clothes Swap in Weston-super-Mare! ♻️👗☕🍰
Ever looked at your wardrobe and thought, “I have nothing to wear” while surrounded by clothes? 😂 Or perhaps you have pieces you no longer love that deserve a new home? This is your chance to clear some space, refresh your wardrobe and find something fabulous without breaking the bank.
👚 How does the clothes swap work?
🛍️ Bring your preloved goodies: Bring up to 25 items of clothing and/or accessories you no longer want. Everything must be in good, wearable condition, with no holes or stains, please!
🎟️ Receive your swap ticket: Our lovely team will issue you with a ticket showing how many items you can take home.
👀 Get rummaging: Browse the piles of preloved treasures and see what catches your eye!
💚 Take home your finds: Once you’re happy with your choices, head to the exit and hand your ticket to our team.
You don’t have to take home as many items as you donate. Donate 25 but only find 12 things you love? That’s absolutely fine!
Found a few extra treasures you can’t leave behind? Any items beyond your allowance can be purchased for just £1 each.
☕ More than just a clothes swap!
We’ll also have a selection of wonderful women-led small businesses joining us, showcasing their gorgeous products and handmade creations. Come along, browse their stalls, meet local business owners and show some love to the people behind the small businesses in our community.
And, of course, there’ll be coffee and cake to enjoy while we catch up, connect and have a good old natter. Because every great rummage deserves refreshments! 🍰
💚 Why are we doing this?
At The Thrifty Chameleon, we believe preloved should be celebrated, sustainable choices should be accessible, and women should be supporting women.
This event is about more than finding a bargain. It’s about reducing waste, giving clothes another chance, supporting local businesses and creating a welcoming space for women to connect, make friends and lift each other up.
Whether you’re a seasoned charity shop queen, completely new to swapping, or simply looking for a lovely afternoon out, you are so welcome!
