About this Event

About This Event:

Everyone is welcome to join us at Hurstville Library for a special Christmas concert celebrating music, community, and the festive season.

With a mix of local performances for the whole family, including a children’s choir, a multilingual operatic performance, a multicultural community choir, and a collaborative Christmas Carol jam session, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Light snacks will be provided. Please include any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Book now to reserve your spot and help us celebrate together as a community!

About the Performers:

  • Enjoy a cheerful performance by children from Georges River Council’s Early Learning Centres. Focusing on play-based learning and holistic development, our Centres provide high-quality education and care. Children feel safe and supported in our accessible and inclusive environments. We are an extension of the community and raise the standard for early learning.
  • Jing Lei is a classical Opera singer from China who performs in Chinese and Italian.
  • The Fiestaville Community Choir, formed in 2013, actively celebrates Hurstville’s multicultural community by promoting peace, harmony and understanding through the universal language of music.
  • Tito Espinosa, a songwriting, guitar playing, record producing, music/film/art nerd from New York City, will lead the Christmas Carol jam session. His passion for folk and blues music has given him a distinct people-centred approach to teaching. For years Tito performed as Chorizo Slim and The Boogie Blues Band and now he releases music through his small label Boogie Strange Records.
