Steve Glutting's workshop will cover how to process your "bee tubes" for the winter.About this Event
In October, most mason bees have finished their lifecycle and are now adults resting safely inside their cocoons.
Thursday, October 15th, Steve Glutting and the Center for Native Plants will be hosting a Community Bee Harvest Gathering:
This will be a hands-on event where you can bring in filled bee nesting material, "bee tubes.” Together we will harvest, clean and review the ways we can protect them from mites, predators and environmental factors over the winter.
Cleaning materials will be provided. BYOBT:) Bring in your own Bee Tubes! We will go through the process step-by-step.
Help support our wild bee populations!
This workshop is FREE!
