Communicating Through Conflict: Building Healthier Relationship Skills

This training is designed to help abusive partners and survivor partners strengthen healthy communication and conflict resolution skills. Participants will explore how communication patterns can escalate or de-escalate conflict, practice strategies for expressing needs and emotions respectfully, and learn tools for active listening, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and setting healthy boundaries. The training emphasizes accountability, safety, and practical skills that can support healthier interactions and reduce harmful patterns during conflict.
