Michael Sheely and I have been exploring a provocative question:What is the magic that allows Eros to become a communal art form?
Eros is already moving through our group spaces, whether we name it or not. He and I are craving something new: a space where we can explore it consciously, play with it together, and discover what becomes possible when Eros becomes the very force that weaves the whole room together.
Something is emerging somewhere between a facilitated workshop, an immersive dance experience, and an open play space.
COMMUNAL EROS is a guided experiment in awakening Eros within ourselves, exploring it in connection with others, and then co-creating with it as a whole room.
Eros is much larger than sexuality. For us, EROS = PRESENCE + JUICE. It’s whole-body aliveness, creativity, sensation, attraction, and the life force that moves us toward contact and creation.
Together, we will build a new kind of room: warm, creative, a little edgy, wildly alive, and held with enough structure for us to venture beyond our familiar ways of connecting.

WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll begin with guided embodiment and connection explorations designed to awaken your own Eros. We’ll play games at our edges, expand our awareness beyond one-to-one connection, and bring the whole room into a shared Field.
Then, with a shared language and heightened attunement alive in the room, we’ll set ourselves free on the dance floor to play with everything we’ve created together.
Expect a little contact. Expect a tiny bit of kink. Expect make-out energy without actually making out. Dance alone, connect with another, move through fleeting constellations, witness, rest, and rejoin. The invitation is to stay connected to yourself, to the people you encounter, and to the larger room as the forms continually shift.
Together, our dance becomes part of the living art of the room.
Every exploration is an invitation. You are always free to modify, witness, rest, or opt out of anything that isn’t right for you. No partner or previous experience with dance, conscious Eros, contact improvisation, or kink is required. Curiosity is enough.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY EROS?
For us, Eros = Presence + Juice.
It is whole-body aliveness, sensation, attraction, creativity, and the life force that moves us toward contact and creation. Sexuality can be one expression of Eros, but it is not the only one. This experience invites us to explore what Eros becomes when we let it move through the whole body and into connection without automatically turning it into sexual activity.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY COMMUNAL EROS?
You might dance alone, connect with one person, join a small constellation, witness, rest, or rejoin. The invitation is to stay connected to the larger current rather than disappearing into a sealed private bubble.
Imagine Eros becoming a living current in the room. One person’s movement awakens something in another. A glance becomes an invitation. A duet opens into a trio, a constellation gathers and dissolves, and the energy keeps moving.
Eros becomes something we create, shape, and experience together. The whole room becomes the art.

IS THIS A PLAY PARTY?
We are creating a new kind of creature.
COMMUNAL EROS borrows the intentionality of a facilitated workshop, the movement and immersion of a dance floor, and the freedom and charge of a play party.
We’ll begin with embodiment and connection explorations that awaken Eros within us and attune us to one another. As the shared current comes alive, the structure will loosen and the room will open into movement, play, and communal co-creation. Expect freedom, flirtation, and charge, all within a beautiful exploration of Eros as something much larger than sexuality.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes will stay on, but your Eros gets to come out!
If you have ever wanted an excuse to wear the outfit that is too much, too wild, too sensual, too fabulous, or simply not meant for ordinary life, this is it. Think a little Burning Man, a little ritual, and a lot of you. Let your clothing become an expression of the energy you want to bring into the room.
Costuming is completely optional. Come exactly as you are, or come adorned. Just choose something that allows you to move, breathe, and play freely.

CAN I COME ALONE? AND/OR CAN I COME WITH A PARTNER?
You absolutely do not need to bring a partner. Come on your own. You’ll be entering a warm, guided communal experience where opportunities to meet and connect with others are woven into the structure.
If you are in partnership, you are absolutely welcome to come together. This is not a couples workshop, though, so the invitation is to stay woven into the experience of the whole room rather than making the evening a private experience for two. What that looks like is yours to choose, and you can fully participate while honoring the agreements and boundaries of your relationship.

DO I NEED EXPERIENCE? WHAT IF I’M SHY OR NERVOUS?
No experience is necessary. First-time explorers and people with years of experience are equally welcome.
We’ll introduce each exploration clearly, build the experience gradually, and create a shared foundation before opening into freer play. You can enter each invitation at your own pace. Curiosity and a willingness to experiment are enough.

WILL THIS SPACE BE HETERONORMATIVE?
No. All genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and forms of expression are welcome.
We are interested in Eros in all its forms: the charge between two people, the play of a small constellation, and the aliveness that moves through and awakens an entire room.

IS THIS A CONSENT-CENTERED, TRAUMA-INFORMED SPACE?
Yes. Consent, choice, and nervous system awareness are central to the structure of the experience. We bring more than twenty years of experience facilitating embodied transformation with deep attention to the nervous system.
Each exploration will unfold gradually. At any moment, you can say no, slow down, pause, or change your mind. You will be encouraged to listen to your body, honor your boundaries, and participate at a pace that feels right for you.

ABOUT YOUR CO-CREATORS
CHRISTINA MORASSI is devoted to initiating people into their deepest power and purpose. She has over twenty years of experience facilitating embodied transformation work, rooted in the healing arts and nervous system awareness, with a long-standing passion for exploring Eros outside of sexuality. After building a highly successful coaching business, Christina stepped away to follow a deeper call of soul, where Eros, truth, and purpose converge. She now guides visionary leaders to build soul-aligned lives and businesses, working with Eros as raw life force that fuels creativity, intimacy, and real change. Originally from Western MA, Christina spent many years living in California and traveling internationally before returning to the area in the past 2 years, where she is now rooted, local, and grateful to be offering this work in community.
MICHAEL SHEELY is on a mission to make love the currency of planet earth. Michael believes that with compassionate attunement to one another humans can thrive, He is passionate about bringing joy, freedom of expression, and connection to dance floors. Michael is a coach, facilitator, artist and teacher who produces transformation events that help us evolve into a version of ourselves that fills us with delight and wonder. With a passion for community, Michael has collaborated with artists and facilitators to bring improvisation, presence, play, and the wild edge of life to the hearts and minds of kindred souls through serious play.
