It’s time to announce our first walk of autumn ! Want to see some fascinating birds up close? 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 & 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨 (𝐊𝐞𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐚)!
07:00 – Depart Marfa Pier by boat to Santa Maria Bay, Comino 𝐃𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐰𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 (𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬! 🐦).
We'll enjoy a guided walk across Comino, including:
- A visit to the BirdLife Malta ringing station and bird ringing demonstration
- Santa Maria Battery
- Santa Maria Tower (with a short talk)
- The Blue Lagoon (with time for an ice cream, if available)
- Comino Chapel
- We'll return to Santa Maria Bay for a 2:00pm boat back to Marfa Pier.
𝐖𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝟔:𝟒𝟓 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩. The walk is easy-to-moderate with some rough terrain, so we recommend appropriate footwear.
𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 €𝟏𝟓, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝. The fee includes the boat transfer and a donation to Din l-Art Ħelwa for our visit to Santa Maria Tower. Additional donations are welcome and appreciated.
