Programme:
A combination of Schumann Kreisleriana and Jörg Widmann Elf Humoresken. This is the outcome of Xinru’s PhD project, 'Reprogramming Schumann and Contemporary Piano Cycles', in which she separated Schumann and contemporary piano cycles into small pieces and rearranged them in a different order to tell a completely new story. This one is about a daydream.
