He has been a staple at LaughFest for over a decade, both as a performer and producer, and has taken the stage at major festivals including the Boston Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival, and Comedy 10K, and Traverse City Comedy Festival. Degi is a frequent opener for Michael Kosta of “The Daily Show” and released his debut comedy special ‘Empty The Clips’ on YouTube in 2026.
Calvin Baker- Calvin Baker is a stand-up comedian based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the founder of North Kent Comedy. A familiar presence in the West Michigan comedy scene, Calvin has built a reputation not only for his performances, but also for his work producing and supporting live comedy.
Calvin has performed at some of Michigan’s respected comedy venues, including The Traverse City Comedy Club, Dr. Grins, and Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak. He has also appeared in acclaimed showcases such as Don’t Tell Comedy and Next Stop Comedy, and has both performed in and produced shows for Gilda’s LaughFest in Grand Rapids.
Throughout his career, Calvin has shared the stage with a diverse lineup of talented comedians, including opening for Dave Landau. Whether he’s behind the scenes producing a show or behind the microphone delivering his own material, Calvin continues to make his mark on Michigan’s comedy scene.
