Come check out the Best Comedy Night in the East Bay in the 2024 East Bay Express Reader Poll (2nd in 2025)!! Shows are held in the Polka Dot room at The Factory Bar, an intimate 42-seat back room that is perfect for standup comedy.

Comedy at the Factory brings local killers and national headling comedians to the Polka Dot Room at the Factory Bar. Past headliners include:

Wednesday December 3: SHAWN FELIPE Shawn Felipe is an award-winning comedian and versatile entertainer, recently crowned the 2025 San Francisco International Comedy Competition champion. A veteran of over 200 college shows, he’s performed for U.S. military personnel, on major cruise lines, and on the “Breaking the Mold” tour with Jo Koy. Beyond stand-up, he won The Great Food Truck Race with Team Aloha Plate and earned millions of views with his Dry Bar Comedy special, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and engaging performer across stage, screen, and digital platforms.

Wednesday January 7: GENEVA RUST-ORTA
If a show has a SECRET HEADLINER this usually means it is a comedian that has recently or will soon headline one of the major comedy clubs/theaters in the Bay Area and so we are not allowed to advertise.

Comedy at the Factory is produced by JD Arandia (Amazon Prime, San Jose Improv). JD was born and raised in Richmond CA. He has been producing comedy shows in Richmond since 2012. He's performed all over California and worked for headliners such as Felipe Esparza and Tom Rhodes.

• Sold out means sold out (this is a change), however, if there are no shows or additional capacity we will fill every seat.
• Late arrivals are not guaranteed seating. We will seat whoever is there for the start of the show.
