Come From Away is a hit musical based on the remarkable true story of a tiny Canadian town that welcomed 7,000 stranded passengers when the skies closed in the wake of the national tragedy of September 11, 2001. In the days that followed, cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but the residents of Gander, Newfoundland, discovered unexpected friendships, compassion, hope, and a renewed sense of community.Featuring a soaring, folk-inspired score, this beloved musical reminds us that despite fear and uncertainty, humanity can be found even during the darkest of times and in the most unexpected places.
