When 38 planes are forced to land unexpectedly in a small town on Canada’s Newfoundland Island following the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the local community opens its doors to thousands of stranded passengers. Based on a true story, “Come From Away” is an uplifting musical about unexpected friendship, generosity and the ways people can come together in times of crisis.
