Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sing in a choir, but felt a little nervous about giving it a go?As part of Learn to Play Day 2026, Musical Melodies Choir is opening its doors for a completely FREE evening of singing for newcomers! 🎤✨
📅 Thursday 8th October
🕢 7:30–9:00pm
📍 Templewood Primary School, Pentley Park, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 7SD
🎟️ FREE – no experience or audition needed!
Musical Melodies is a friendly, welcoming adult choir specialising in songs from musicals and the stage. There are no auditions, you don't need to be able to read music, and you definitely don't need to arrive already knowing how to sing in a choir!
For our Learn to Play Day session, we'll be learning the brilliant “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman together from scratch
We'll warm up, learn the different vocal parts and gradually put the whole song together, so by the end of the evening, you'll have experienced exactly what it's like to rehearse and sing as part of a choir ❤️
Come on your own or bring a friend. Our existing Musical Melodies members will be there singing alongside you, and newcomers will be made very welcome
If you've been thinking about trying a choir but haven't quite taken the plunge yet, this is your chance!
👉 Click Going on this event and come and sing with us – we'd love to meet you.
🎶 One song. One evening. Come and see what you can do.
