Colvin House Coven: Earth Day Cleanup and Craft

April 22nd marks Colvin Coven's one year anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than with the Earth Herself? Whether you've participated in coven events before or are joining us for the first time, we'd love to celebrate with you! All levels of practice welcome.

This will be a two part event, you are welcome to come to one part or both. Please get a ticket to reserve your spot so we know how many people to expect <3

Part One, Forage + Cleanup: Lake Michigan provides many natural gifts, so lets forage for items that can be used for alters, spells, and more! We'll provide a list of what to look for and it's magical properties. While foraging, we'll thank the Earth by cleaning up trash along the way. Meet time is 5:30 at the Colvin House where we'll give out trash bags and gloves, then we'll head to Loyola Beach across the street around 5:45. If you can't meet us at Colvin House, no problem! Just meet us on the beach where we'll have extra cleanup supplies. We will be back to Colving Huose by 7:30pm. This is a free event.

Note: Please bring some type of container to put your foraged items in. This would be a good time to bust out a tote bag or backpack. If you would like to collect some sand or lake water, bring a vessel with a lid.

Part Two, Sewing Seeds with Intention: Beginning at 7:30 we will do a beginner friendly garden magic activity. The $5 ticket will provide soil and your choice of mint or basil seeds. Since it's Earth Day, we encourage you to reuse and recycle by bringing an old vessel that can be turned into a plant pot! Examples include an empty take out container, unused plant pot, plastic salad container -- basically anything that has holes or that you can poke holes in the bottom of. We will have a limited supply of plant pots for purchase if you need them.

We have food and a selection of beverages (sodas, beer, and wine) for sale onsite at Colvin House!
