About this Event

In this hands-on workshop, we will explore the possibilities of papermaking. Participants will learn how to prepare paper pulp and transform it into a new paper surface. The workshop will introduce the materials and tools required, as well as the different characteristics and possibilities of paper. We will experiment with different shapes, colours and textures, while incorporating natural and decorative elements such as leaves, petals, threads and other materials.

All materials are provided. No other preparation is necessary.

Collage Working Club (CWC) is a weekly open workspace for artists working in the medium of paper. Organised in the format of alternate ‘drop in’ sessions and workshops masterclasses, it has both a regular facilitator, whilst also involving the artist community in the sharing of knowledge and skills. Providing materials, education and connections is the primary aim of CWC, and it will do this through the interdisciplinary art of collage as both an art form and a tool for personal growth.
