Colour & Candle MagicPart of the Oshawa School of Witchcraft at The Zen Shop
Taught by High Priestess Rev. Karyn Williams
Have you ever made a wish before blowing out your birthday candles? If so, you’ve already taken part in one of the simplest forms of candle magic.
In this hands-on class, High Priestess Rev. Karyn Williams will guide students through the fascinating world of colour and candle magic, exploring how intention, symbolism, timing and traditional magical practice can all work together.
As part of the Oshawa School of Witchcraft at The Zen Shop, this class goes beyond simply following a spell from a book or online source. Students are encouraged to understand the principles behind the work, develop their own intuition, and begin building a more personal and meaningful magical practice.
Throughout the class, Rev. Karyn will share traditional knowledge, practical techniques and teachings drawn from decades of experience and from knowledge passed through generations of her family.
Students will explore the deeper role that candles and colour can play within magical practice, along with the many different elements that may influence or strengthen a working. Rather than publishing the complete lesson plan, much of the teaching is reserved for students attending the class itself.
This allows each Oshawa School of Witchcraft class to remain a true learning experience — not simply a list of correspondences or instructions that can be copied and repeated elsewhere.
Students will leave with a stronger understanding of how to approach candle magic thoughtfully, confidently and creatively, along with ideas they can continue developing within their own practice.
Detailed class handouts are included so students can add what they learn to their personal notes or Book of Shadows and continue building upon their knowledge after the class.
Whether you are completely new to candle magic or already have some experience, this class offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding and explore the practice in a more meaningful way.
Come discover how something as simple as a candle can become a powerful tool for intention, transformation and magic.
Pre-registration is recommended as spaces are limited.
All required class materials and handouts are included unless otherwise noted.
