The Good Doctorby Neil Simon
Directed by Amelia Barrett
Laughter is the best medicine.
Neil Simon’s witty and heartfelt collection of short plays inpired by the stories of Anton Chekhov. Each vignette introduces a set of new characters – from a feisty old woman confronting a banker to a father awkwardly guiding his son into adulthood. A narrator, modeled after Checkhov himself, ties the stories together with infectious humor and insight.
