About this Event
College Hill Ghost Tours: A Haunted Trolley Ride Through Easton’s Oldest Neighborhood
Climb aboard the Easton Trolley for the first-ever College Hill Ghost Tours!
Over one hour, we’ll roll past grand Victorians and down quiet side streets, visiting 8 stops on a hill where the fortunes of Easton’s wealthiest families rose, fell, and in some cases never quite left. Your guide will share ghost stories from four sources:
- Current homeowners who have seen and heard things they still can’t explain
- The history books, with tales reaching back to the Gilded Age
- Family lore passed down at kitchen tables from grandparents to grandkids
- A Lafayette professor who wandered a little too far past brilliant
Expect a few chills, a few laughs, and at least one ghost who just wants some peace and quiet. Along the way, you’ll also hear how the trolley you’re riding helped build College Hill in the first place.
Good to know
- Tours depart from and return to Easton Public Market, 325 Northampton Street
- The ride is about one hour, and we won’t be getting off the trolley. Every home on the route is still occupied (by the living and the dead, you can decide), so we’ll be viewing from our seats and keeping our voices down
- We’ll keep the exact stops a surprise
Proceeds from this event support the Easton Main Street Initiative’s efforts to make downtown Easton more welcoming for families.
