The areas largest pop culture convention, is back! For those that don't know, it's part Disneyland, part collectable pickers show, part cosplay event, part artist/designer forum, card frenzy, tv/film memorabilia and events, music, photo ops, gaming, collectors heaven and part 'OMG, I LOVED that when I was a kid'... convention! Event runs from 10am until 6pm. We will be dropping event info, each month as we get closer (on our socials). Follow us here on FB or on IG!
Vernon Comic Con began in 2018 as a little gathering of like minded friends. It has moved to larger locations three times and now brings fans from all over BC and Alberta.
As you know, The Vernon Comic Con is always on the first Saturday in May, which celebrates Free Comic Day (which will be offered as supplies last), thanks to Ebenezer's!
Thank you to our own superheroes at, A&W, Beach-FM, World Health, Sunshine Graphics, Millennium Valley Productions & Tourism Vernon!!
Even though we keep growing thanks to you, last year's lines went through very quickly as we have two entrances in either of our larger buildings. The Rec Centre and The Curling Rink. Plus The Halina Centre (Stage Room) and the Dogwood Gym (which is in the Rec Centre). It's been now all dubbed as The Vernon Comic Con Campus lol.
Cash entrance is through the Main Hall (front of rec centre)
OR at the back entrance of the Curling Rink (debit/credit).
If you get hungry, there will be Food Trucks outside and some snack vendors inside. There will also be some fun tents outside, on your way in.
In the Main Hall (rec centre creekside room) you will find vendors, some special surprises, The Games Room (in dogwood gym), a Game Show win prizes, DJ Lunchboxx will keep the energy level up and much, much more. The Curling Rink will host more vendors, a massive new photo op (w/ film props), artists/guests and some activities.
The Main Hall, Halina Centre, Curling Rink and Dogwood Gym, access to everything is still only $10 per person (children under 12 yrs old are free)!
Bring your TCG and Sports cards, as we host a plethora of card vendors AND TGA CARD GRADING Co. Plus an arcade with a playable fun retro pinball machines($1 a play) and we are pleased to host numerous Card Trading times.
See schedule below, as we get closer (for all events).
We will also have a stage in one of our rooms, for cosplay action, guests and much more. Schedule to also be posted, as we get closer.
On our main stage, there will be guest artists, local fan film premier and our cosplay showcase. Email the addy below, if you want to participate in the showcase.
*Most vendors will have debit etc, yet feel free to have cash on hand, for entrance to make things move quicker. It helps the line move quickly with cash.

Vernon Comic Con-Official, is the site. Please follow.
The VCC is much, much more than comics. Come join the fun, meet some wonderful collectors, artists, play games, search through a plethora of long boxes for that special comic, find unique collectables, buy/sell/trade cards, view stunning props, costumes, cards, video and board games, take in photo ops, find vintage items and much more. From private collectors and artists to retail outlets bringing out their special items that are hardly seen with many deals. For those that have never been to a collectable show or con, this event has something for everyone and it’s much more than you think. This convention was created for the entire family!
Our Pop Culture Event Gameshow is back! Win Prizes!
DJ Lunchboxx will spin some fun music in the background, stay tuned for more fun ideas that will happen that day.
PS If you would like a photo with a Cosplayer, PLEASE respect them and always Ask for their permission. They would love to showcase their work.
Many get into the spirit and dress up as their favourite characters. We had entire families becoming Superheroes! You have time to start designing your Luke Skywalker, Luffy, Harley Quinn, Kitana, Pokémon Ball, Peacemaker, Green Lantern, Supergirl, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Okami Amaterasu, Trekkie costumes etc now! We look forward to seeing you again. It’s a fun filled day, for all of us like minded fans!!
**Please share this with all of your groups and friends.**
