Curtis Bergesen was born in Washington, DC, and grew up in Bethesda, MD. He is a vegetarian, only child, eagle scout, and nature lover. After over a decade of working in the music business, Curtis decided to unplug and search for more creatively fulfilling opportunities.
Collage The World was born in 2017 after an inspiring trip to Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. Curtis aka @collagetheworld creates whimsical handmade paper art. After 7 months in Mexico City, and 7 years in Denver, Colorado, he moved to Wilmington, Delaware in March 2026. Ask him about reggae music.
