Collage Night with Thomas Joseph Ross

Most of my images begin the same way.
I sit down with a pile of old books, magazines, photographs, scraps of paper, and whatever else I can find. I cut things apart. I move them around. I glue them down. Somewhere in the middle of the mess, a story starts to appear.
For one evening, I'm inviting you into that process.
This isn't an art class, and you don't need any experience. There are no rules, no right answers, and no pressure to make something "good."
We'll provide the materials. You'll have access to hundreds of images, papers, and found objects to work with while we listen to good music, have a drink, chat, and create.
I'll share a little about how I approach collage and storytelling, offer guidance if you want it, and then get out of your way.
Come on your own, bring a friend, or make a night of it.
You'll leave with a finished collage, a different way of looking at creativity, and hopefully the feeling that making something with your hands is still one of the best ways to spend an evening.
