About this Event
CogSciSci is taking its talents to Hammersmith this year. That’s right - the world's greatest CogSciSci conference is back for its characteristic mix of Cognitive Science and science education geekery.
This year's conference will be hosted at the wonderful Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, London, on Friday 29th May. The theme of the conference is ‘Implementation’ so talks will aim to focus on how the findings of CogSci can be turned into practical strategies in the classroom or how to support teachers in implementing research effectively. We wanted to ensure as many people felt welcome to attend CogSciSci this year as possible, so have tried to keep the overarching theme relatively wide to encourage a broad church. If you are not a science teacher but:
- Want to have a day of talks by expert teachers and researchers on practical and interesting things.
- Don’t mind that the examples will mainly be from science lessons.
Then feel free to grab a ticket and join us!
Remote attendance.
Unfortunately remote attendance will not be possible this year. We will aim to make some content available after the event but we will not be streaming any talks this year.
Want to speak?
We always pride ourselves on platforming a broad range of voices. If you are interested in delivering a 40 min talk then please fill out the form below. We will review them and let you know in due course.

CogSciSci is run on a shoestring budget to drive down prices for attendees. Though we are unable to pay you for your time, we have been able to offer travel expenses for previous conferences and hope to do so again this year. If you are new to speaking at conferences we also offer a buddy system whereby a member of the CogSciSci editorial team can support you in pitching, planning and delivering your presentation.
