About this Event

The local elections on 7 May are set to be this year’s defining political moment. Labour is braced for heavy losses, with some critics claiming they could spell the end for Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves. Kemi Badenoch’s future as the Tory leader also hangs in the balance, with Reform and the Greens set to make major gains.

Join the Coffee House team on the morning of 8 May for The Local Elections Breakfast Briefing to hear an immediate examination of the results. Enjoy a coffee or tea and pastry while hearing from Spectator editor Michael Gove, political editor Tim Shipman, deputy political editor James Heale and special guest Charlotte Pickles, chief executive of thinktank Re:State. Alongside insider analysis and their live reactions, they’ll unpack what the results really mean for British politics.

Please join us from 9am to enjoy a coffee or tea and a breakfast pastry. The breakfast is included in your ticket price.
