About this Event

This event is a collaboration between two organizations dedicated to the advancement of women:

  • Win With Black Women: An intergenerational collective of Black women leaders committed to building collective power and advancing social and economic policy agendas. The network focuses on empowering Black women across all sectors to lead and drive systemic change.
  • Dress for Success Washington, DC: This organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a support network, professional attire, and career development tools. Their programs are designed to help women thrive in every phase of their professional lives.

We are privileged to feature a panel of distinguished voices moderated by Fox 5 DC Anchor :

  • Stephanie Ramirez (Moderator): An Emmy-award winning reporter for FOX 5 DC, she is recognized for her insightful community storytelling and dedicated coverage of local issues. Her journalism focuses on shining a light on critical stories that impact the lives of residents across the District.

Distinguished Panelists:

  • Dr. Nicol Turner Lee: A Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and Director of the Center for Technology Innovation, she is a leading expert on digital equity and the intersection of race, wealth, and technology. Her research focuses on harnessing innovation to create equitable opportunities for historically disadvantaged communities.
  • Former Ambassador Bonnie Denise Jenkins: Served as the Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, she was a high-ranking diplomat and the founder of Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security, and Conflict Transformation. She has dedicated her career to global security and advocating for diversity in international policy.
