An interactive workshop empowering women leaders to prioritize well-being, build practical self-care strategies, and lead with confidence.
About this Event

Please join Leadership Foundation for Women for our annual Cocktails & Connections event, facilitated by Isis Pettway, LPC, NCC. During this event we'll cover:

From their personal to their professional lives, working women, especially those in positions as leaders, find themselves balancing various demands that range from leading teams, meeting organizational expectations, managing relationships, and navigating responsibilities outside of work. Unfortunately a cost is associated with the attempt to balance it all and personal well-being can easily move to the bottom of the priority list.

Leading Without Losing Yourself is an interactive workshop designed to help women leaders strengthen their mental health and well-being while continuing to lead with confidence, effectiveness, and intention. This workshop creates space for women to pause, reflect, and develop practical strategies to prioritize their own care in their day to day lives.

Participants will learn how to:

● Map their identities — explore the different roles and identities they carry as leaders, professionals, caregivers, partners, parents, community members, and individuals, while identifying areas where competing expectations may create tension or stress.

● Create and execute healthy boundaries — recognize where their time, energy, and emotional capacity are being overextended and develop practical ways to establish and communicate boundaries at work and at home.

● Manage stress effectively — learn practical strategies for regulating stress, creating moments of recovery, and responding to workplace pressure without allowing it to become chronic overwhelm.

● Build more effective habits — examine daily routines and behaviors that either support or undermine mental health and identify small, sustainable habits that promote focus, energy, productivity, and resilience.

● Strengthen coping skills — develop healthy tools for navigating the difficulties of day to day life that includes difficult emotions, workplace challenges, conflict, etc…
