Drink specialist Micah Wilder will guide guests through a selection of Viola Spritz, verjus, and Prosecco flights, thoughtfully paired with the evening’s bites.
Settle in for a chef-prepared tasting experience featuring an abundant grazing display of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, fresh fruits and vegetables with dips, herbed grissini, and seasonal crostini.
The tasting continues with a selection of passed bites, including polpette Mondeghili, gnocco fritto with prosciutto San Daniele, rösti potato bites with quark and wild salmon roe, and beet bites with whipped ricotta and orange.
At Ama, the rhythms and flavors of chef and owner Johanna Hellrigl brings Italian heritage to Navy Yard, drawing on the Ligurian coast and the slower rituals of everyday life in Italy. The restaurant's beverage program follows the same philosophy, with cocktails built around herbs, tinctures and bitters, and a thoughtful zero-proof program.
