MUD is thrilled to offer our first ever Cob Wall Construction Workshop with our friends from Spiritwood Natural Building! In this course, you will learn the basics of cob construction, including the materials and techniques used to build anything from garden walls to houses. We’ll work collaboratively over 3 days to build a wall on MUD’s site from the ground up. With simple materials like clay, soil and straw, a beautiful and one of a kind structure will come to life right at MUD, and be around for our community to enjoy for years to come! We ask that participants attend this course for 2 OR 3 days. Times for each day are listed below. Email [email protected] for details or questions.
During this class, we will learn to mix cob using our feet - be sure to dress to get messy!
