Kick off the new year with the Coastwatch Charity Polar Plunge 2027 and take a chilly dip in the Firth of Clyde, all while raising money for a great cause!

Now in its ninth year, the Coastwatch Charity Polar Plunge has grown year on year, bringing together individuals, families, friends and community groups to enjoy a fantastic event while raising valuable funds for local charities and good causes.

The idea is simple: sign up, gather your sponsors and choose the charity or community group you want to support. Then join us on the beach for music, fun and an energetic warm-up before taking the plunge into the cold waters of the Firth of Clyde at 12 noon!

Whether you're brave enough to take the plunge on your own or want to round up your friends, family, colleagues or community group, everyone is welcome to get involved. Every penny you raise goes directly to your chosen charity or community group, making this a great way to support a cause close to your heart while starting the year with a memorable experience.

Once you've braved the cold, you can warm up with a complimentary bowl of hot soup, provided by Coastwatch Irvine, while supplies last.
