About this Event
Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day! This event is one of California's largest volunteer events with sites all over the state participating. Help us pick up litter from the roads and trails around the Environmental Education Center (EEC) to help keep our waterways and wetlands clean!
Volunteers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are happy to sign off on volunteer hours.
Other Considerations:
- Driving Directions: We recommend using Google Maps and mapping to the "Environmental Education Center (EEC)" or 1751 Grand Blvd, Alviso, CA 95002.
- If you need any accommodations, reach out to [email protected].
- Wear comfortable clothing, long pants, sun protection and layers, and closed-toe shoes - all that you don't mind getting dirty! We will provide gloves and all other tools and supplies for this event, but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
- Restrooms will be available on-site in the form of an ADA-compliant portable toilet and hand-washing station.
- Please bring a filled reusable water bottle to stay hydrated while reducing plastic pollution! We do not have working water fountains onsite.
