About this Event

Stepping into a supervisory role often means shifting from “doing the work” to helping others do it well. Coaching is one of the most powerful tools a manager can use—but many new supervisors aren’t sure where to start. This workshop will break coaching down into simple, practical skills you can use right away with your staff.

Participants will:

  • Learn what coaching is (and what it isn’t) in the context of supervision
  • Practice core skills like active listening, asking powerful questions, and guiding staff toward their own solutions
  • Receive a simple framework for structuring a coaching conversation
  • Gain confidence in supporting staff growth without needing all the answers yourself

Whether you’re brand new to supervision or just want a stronger foundation, you’ll leave with practical tools to coach staff in a way that builds trust, ownership, and stronger performance.
