The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the Coachella & Indio City Council Candidates Forums on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Spotlight 29 Casino.This special community event will bring together candidates seeking election to the Coachella City Council and Indio City Council, giving residents, businesses and community members an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about issues and topics important to their respective communities.
The evening will begin with a 30-minute Meet the Candidates period, providing attendees an opportunity to meet and interact with candidates from both cities while enjoying light food and refreshments. The formal program will then feature two separate 30-minute candidate forums, beginning with the Coachella City Council Candidates Forum, followed by the Indio City Council Candidates Forum.
Both forums will be moderated by Bob Marra, CEO/Publisher of GPS Business Insider. The candidate forums will also be streamed live on the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
